Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Our stocks are running at an all-time low.

In the last 3 months of last year 2 tons more food was given out than was donated. So please keep donating food: your donation is needed now more than ever. We are anticipating a significant increase in customers as more people are affected by the increase in the cost of living.

We want to say thank you to everyone who is continuing to donate food and money to enable us to help people in food crisis. The fact that people are still considering how to support our foodbank during this time is a credit to the community.

You can drop off donations at our store (Unit 15b, Threemilestone Industrial Estate, Truro. TR4 9LD – 2 doors down from the Ford Transit Service Centre) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 09:30 to 11:30.

Food can also be dropped off at collection points in supermarkets in Truro:

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food. We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.
