Struggling Cornish workers urged to speak out about low wages

15th February 2024

Poorly paid Cornish workers are being encouraged to visit drop-in sessions as part of an investigation into low wages and zero hours contracts. The aim of these sessions is to hear from working people who are affected by low income and/or insecure working hours and to start thinking about how we can create change together.

So do please come along if you are paid less then £12 per hour or are on a zero/very low hours contract.

We’d also welcome employers who would consider paying the real living wage and guarantee living hours as recommended by the Living Wage Foundation.
