We rely on the support of our local community for food donations and finances.
So we want to say thank you to everyone who is continuing to donate food and money to enable us to help people in food crisis. The fact that people are still considering how to support our foodbank during this time is a credit to the community.
If you are happy to drop off food donations, there are donation points at Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Iceland and Co-op in Truro.
Alternatively food donations can be delivered to All Saints Church, Highertown, Truro, TR1 3LD on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 0900 to 1200.
If you are self-isolating, you can make a financial donation online instead. Please click on the red donate button on the top of the page on the right hand side.
Our foodbank works using a voucher referral system.
Due to the impact of the COVID 19 virus some referral agencies are no longer able to see customers face to face. Please do not be worried about this if you are in food crisis and unsure how to get a Foodbank voucher. Many agencies are able to create vouchers electronically now, so customers do not need to make unnecessary journeys in search of a paper voucher.
If you phone or email the agency that is most relevant to support you they can create this voucher or they can just email us to say they are supporting you. If they are able to create the voucher they can give you the actual voucher number. If you would like to contact the CAB you can text ADVICE to 78866 and an adviser will call you back.
If you require any other information or assistance please telephone 07721 711669 between 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday.
All Truro Foodbank sessions will now be centralised at All Saints Church, Highertown.
To minimise contact to protect both our customers and our volunteers we are having to modify the way we are operating. Please follow the Cororonavirus guidelines.
Regrettably, we’re unable to offer the hot drinks and biscuits and the usual chats but customers will still be made welcome. We are making every effort to keep open, but also to keep everyone safe.
Please don't come if you're feeling unwell, showing Coronavirus symptoms or have come into contact with someone who has, but arrange for whoever is supporting you or your referral agency to collect your food parcel.
