We’re recruiting for a Foodbank Manager

Truro Foodbank is offering an exciting and challenging job opportunity to manage and lead a committed group of staff and volunteers as they seek to alleviate hunger and provide compassionate and practical help to local people in crisis.  We provide over 5,000 emergency food parcels a year, representing over 60 tonnes of food donated annually by local people.

We seek a passionate, energetic and organised Foodbank Manager to continue to lead us forward to meet future challenges and provide an excellent service for the community.

Hours: 16 core hours per week plus overtime

Salary range: £32,000 to £35,000 (full-time equivalent) dependent upon the level of skills and previous experience.

Benefits: All paid staff are entitled to be part of the NEST pension scheme

Holidays:  5.6 weeks per year (pro rata) of paid holiday plus public holidays.

We work to support those in food crisis in the Truro area, of any faith or no faith, as well as being proud to have a wide range of volunteers working with us from across Truro’s diverse communities.
