Foodbank vouchers

Our foodbank works using a voucher referral system. Find out more about how we work.

We know that anyone can find themselves at crisis point for a number of different reasons.

To provide the most appropriate help for you we work with local partners. If they feel you are struggling to put food on the table, they will issue you with a foodbank voucher number. These partners can also provide long term support if needed to help address some of the issues behind the reasons for your crisis.

Our foodbank works with a number of different referral agencies. Most of these organisations can be contacted by phone, email or text. Here is the current list:

When you contact a referral agency they will take some basic details from you to complete the voucher. This will help them to identify the cause of your crisis and offer practical guidance. If you have any dietary requirements, do make sure you mention this when asking for a voucher.

If you need help to get a voucher, or don’t know who to go to, please contact us.

Once the voucher is confirmed you can collect your food from Unit 15b, Threemilestone Industrial Estate, Truro, TR9 4LD on Mondays from 3 to 5pm and Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am to 12pm. If you cannot come please ask a friend, neighbour or relative to come in to collect the food for you. If you still have a problem, please contact us.

If you are a referral agency and would like to become a registered voucher holder for our foodbank, please contact us to find out more.
