It was so kind of you to organise a delivery from Tesco to All Saints Church when we were open last Tuesday. We really do appreciate your generosity – especially as the delivery included the items we are so short of. This will make a huge difference to so many people.

A huge thanks to Truro High School
for their generous gifts of packet and tinned food to help the rising number of struggling families in the Truro area. Their donations were presented to Truro Foodbank following the school’s Harvest Service in St Johns Church on Friday.

TRURO FOODBANK FILM NIGHT presents Fisherman’s Friends
at Truro Methodist Church on Thursday 24th October at 7:30 pm There will be a retiring collection and proceeds will go towards funding the underlying costs of running Truro Foodbank Coffee/tea/cakes will be served at the end when there will be a demonstration of Foodbank boxes and a display of local facts and figures

Harvest Thanksgiving Service
Please join us on Sunday 13th October at Truro Methodist Church at 6:15 pm to give thanks for being able to help relieve hunger in the Truro area for the past 10 years. Any gifts of non-perishable foodstuff to help local people in crisis would be most welcome.

Please remember the Foodbank this harvest
In August we received 2,300 kg of food donations from generous people. In the same time we distributed over 3,300 kg of food. Similarly we provided 244 emergency supplies to people in crisis in August this year compared to 164 last year – an increase of almost 50%. Are you able to donate a little more than usual?
The raw facts are these: In the last two weeks we have received just over 1,000 kgs (one tonne) of food donations from generous people. In the same time we have distributed over 2,200 kgs of food.
